iPad Pro Why do people think there will be a 2021 iPad Pro?

With how wrong all these leaks and predictions have been so far and now reports of chip shortages, issues with miniLED production I think either we won’t see an iPad Pro until late 2021, or we will see LCD iPad Pro’s this month with a miniLED Pro Max coming late 2021.

I wonder how big of difference the mini LED display technology will make for most everyday uses. I just really don't see myself adapting the 12.9" iPad easily, but I'm also not used to (needlessly) getting the best technology available.

I like a really good table that can function as an okay laptop when needed more so than tablet that primarily functions as laptop replacement but can act as an okay tablet when needed.

In TVs mini led has not shown to be of much benefit over existing local dimming led backlit LCDs. Apple might do a better job, but it would basically mean better video, better colours and better for outdoor use.

iPad Pro / Pencil
iMac (multiple colours)
AirTags

Is my guess... with the iMac I am expecting just the smaller base size at this event.

Until Bloomberg spat out that Big Hack fantasy novel dressed as an article, that’s certainly where the involvement of Apple’s marketing ended.

So OP, what are your expectations now after the invites are out? Pro now sounding more likely for you?

In terms of the date that I posted earlier in this post not referring to being correct about the products I guessed we would get an invite on 13th with event on 20th, in terms of products my guess is:

iPad Pro (obvs)
iMac (smaller size in colours)
AirTags

My guess on the date was better than most of the leakers out there though lol 😂 other than Siri obviously...

It would not surprise me if a miniLED iPad Pro will come later in the year with these just having LCD’s... but will just have to see
