There's a used one on eBay going for $45... What makes the 3GS LCD so special?

Anyone know where I can get them wholesale or for cheap?

The digitizer, LCD and glass screen are all one piece.

They're a pretty popular item, too.

No, the digitizer and glass are NOT part of the LCD unless you're actually buying it all together like that.

You can in fact get just the LCD. In fact, you can remove the LCD quite easily from the glass by removing just 6 screws. I've done this many times.

I have a spare LCD kickin' around right here.

You may be thinking about the 1st Gen. I've done a few 3GS digitizer replacements. The only thing that's connected is the midframe, which I carefully remove with an exacto-knife.

A better title for this thread would have been: "DOES ANYONE WANT TO SELL ME A 3GS LCD?!?!?"
