iPhone X Why do Safari Bookmarks disappear shortly after I create them?

This is extremely irritating, and has been going on forever. I’m hoping someone has found a solution.

That has never happened to me in over five years (or ever) on five different iPhones & different versions of iOS

I can’t say I’ve ever experienced that. Are you sure they’re not saved to some sub folder in your bookmark structure that you can’t find immediately? How many devices are affected on your side by this?

You could try to reproduce the problem on a oils device for example.

If you have another device that syncs bookmarks via iCloud, can you search for the bookmarks there?
