Also keep in mind that when using USB 2.0 to ethernet adapter, the speed is limited by the small bandwidth of USB 2.0. so you won't get gigabit speed.

You are actually limited by the speed of Ethernet, which is about 10 MB/s. USB 2 is about 35 MB/s. The adaptor you are referring to does not implement GbE. It is only Ethernet. Unfortunately I have not found any USB 3 to GbE adaptors.
