iPhone XS Why does everyone want the death of Lightning?

Errrr what ? What are you smoking USB type C is superior to lightning . It can simply do MORE then lightning ever can. Sorry don’t even use this argument because it’s dumb. I like lightning and would be mad if they switched but at the end of the day it’s whatever because I have cables for both anyways
 
I've heard too many horror stories about USB-C in a short time.

Lightning has been ROCK SOLID!!!

Again though, with wireless charging, they could get rid of the port for all I care. The last time my iPhone Xs had a lightning cable attached was at the factory in China. 3 months and counting!!!

Lol I’ve “heard” horror stories about X Y and Z as well ....
