I'm sick of manually dragging and resizing the Finder window to be bigger, why the heck do my folder windows open so damn small?

1. Close all Finder windows.
2. Open one window and set it to the size and view options that want.
3. Close it.

All new finder windows should now be like the one you closed.

One drawback to Finder in OSX as compared to OS9 is the option to open a folder in the current window, rather than always opening subsequent folders in a new window. While the advantage is that it reduces clutter, the disadvantage is that every folder ceases to have its own unique parameters and position on the screen. I suppose if you set it to always open folders in a new window, that problem goes away, but the clutter becomes an issue perhaps.
