iPhone Why does imessages show the state next to contact's name?

Seems this wasn't a "feature" prior to iOS 7.1.2. I'd like to turn it off, but can't seem to find any setting pertaining to it. Apparently this is only a JB thing, happens with and without BiteSMS installed. Suggestions?

This is the stock messages app with BiteSMS removed.

I've never seen that iMessages.

Weird that no one else is seeing this... I must have a tweak installed that is causing it, just no clue which one it is.

Just went thru the list of tweaks on my device and decided to uninstall KuaiDial as it was the only tweak that seemed like it might affect contacts...sure enough, that info is now gone. Strange.

See if there's a setting in KuaiDial that enables/disables location info
