Why does it feel like Christmas is comming?

first: We are all very intelligent and know the circumstances surrounding the iPhone. (closed platform) and we have made an educated decision that it is worth it to us. besides, the people I know that have android says its nice but there are not very many apps for it. So i would rather be on a closed platform with 250,000+ APPS, then on a open platform that has a fraction of the apps. whats the point of being open if you have a hard time getting people to write for it?

Kinda reminds me of the 80's and 90's when people liked Macintosh but there were not very many software titles for it. Hmmmmm!!!

Second: Trying to convert us here is like a baptist person going to a catholic church and in the middle of the service stand up and tell everyone they are going to hell cause the baptist way is better. It just reeks of ignorance and desparity.

As someone who really hates Xmas- I consider 6/24 to be way more exciting. I used my own money to by myself something I wanted. Way better than The Big J's Birthday.

Great thread - I am pretty stolked about the new phone. My 3G is lagging like crazy and the new screen, better camera, 720p video, and facetime all look awesome. Not to mention the A4 and 512MB of ram.

I will admit I wasn't hot on the design but now I am excited.

Since "Black Pre-Order" day already passed.... That only means logically the iPhone launch day is coming!!

Seriously I woke up to pre-order earlier than I normally to do shop on black Friday.

As someone who wanted a white iPhone, I feel like my best friend and I went to sit on Santa's lap. My friend goes up and Santa's like, "And what do you want for Christmas, little boy? A black iPhone 4? Ho ho ho, I think that can be arranged! *magical wink*" I go up and he's like, "GTFO."

Completely agree. Since I'm dead set on the white iPhone it feels like Christmas is coming, but I know I'm getting like coal or something. Disappointing.

(I am NOT saying this to be a dick)- I had NO idea how many people cared about the color of their phones. I feel bad for all these people that want a new iPhone but don't want a black one. I never really thought about the color much- I mean if the phone was like neon pink yeah I would think twice, but extremes aside I never put emphasis on the color.

I hope the white ones drop soon for all you guys.

they signed a contract knowing verizon is the best service in the US, they seem to be quite open in other markets, canada for one has 3 carriers...

If i remember correctly, verizon declined apple's invitation to carry the iPhone exclusively..

I did not know as well. Originally I was gonna get the white one but it wasn't that big of a deal to switch to black.
