I manually sync my music on my iPhone as I don't have room for, nor necessarily want, all of my albums on it. But I have signed up for iTunes Match and gone through the whole laborious process of matching, uploading, and, in some cases, replacing some of my existing songs on my computer with downloaded higher quality Matched songs. So far, so good.

But when I then switch on iTunes Match on my iPhone and opt to show all music, I find that after it has completed the Match process some of the tracks on my manually synced albums have disappeared and have to be downloaded again from iCloud. Now I know that it says when you switch on iTunes Match that this will replace the library already on the device but as I understand it this doesn't apply to manually synced music, yet some tracks (and it's always the same ones as I've deleted my music from my iPhone and tried it again several times) simply disappear and have to be re-downloaded.

Has anyone else come across this problem, and if so, is there a solution?
