for the best of my brain cracking, shouldn't they be fitted with Sandy Bridge?
same goes for the GPU, the Radeon HD 5770 is quite outdated too

note: i'm not trolling, just want to clarify this issue

Go read in the Mac Pro sub-forum. It is a bitter subject, and we (they) are waiting, some more patiently then others, for the impending refresh or death of the line. No one really knows why, it just hasn't happened.
