I’m currently on holiday in Greece. Right now it’s 28 degrees but I’m sat in the shade of a bar, not in the sun at all.

Been using my phone for a while and the screen is already very hot to the touch, even though it hasn’t been in have direct sun at all.

Is this normal? I thought these things had better cooling with some kind of vapour chamber? It’s at least as hot if not hotter than my partners 17 which has been used in exactly the same way for the same time!

Just wondering really…

The 17 Pro is much more effective at heat dissipation, which is why it should feel hotter to the touch than the 17. It is effectively spreading heat away from the SoC to the outside of the phone, keeping the internals cooler.

I’ll be honest I didn’t consider this..!
