iPhone Why does my iPhone run smoother on a fresh install of iOS instead of the update I did?

Makes no sense to me. Any explantation appreciated.

Remove file fragmentation, cache, trash, rebuilt directory and search index, insure files are on healthy pages.... patching all those apps is never as good as an unpatched application. Same for operating system itself.
