Why does my iPhone take SO long to sync?

Wow, all of yall are the lucky ones. Just syncing my iphone takes about 20 minutes, while backing it up takes 7-10 hours (no I'm not joking, I have to leave it backing up over night). Before the 2.0 update, it would probably max at 2 minutes. When is Apple expecting to fix this problem?

I just dont back up now and it works fast. Maybe just backup at night when you are not using it. I know its hard to do, for I use mines all the time.

Just to clarify, back with 2.0 there was a bug with backup that would make it take forever. That's been fixed for a long time. Also, the faster the iDevice the faster the backup and sync I've found. My 3G would take quite a while to backup and sync. My iPhone 4, however, takes almost no time to backup (even the initial backup) and sync.
