Why does my mac crash?

I could have 4-6 tabs open and sometimes it freezes up then safari ends up crashing. This seems to happen weekly. What do I need to do to prevent this? thanks

Do you have any more information?
What Mac with what Mac OS X version and Safari version do you use and how much RAM does it have?

Yes, i get crash reports but some reason I'm unable to submit them in. I have version 10.5.8 safari Version 5.0.6 (5533.22.3) where do i get the info for RAM?

Activity Monitor, look at the guides I linked to to learn more about Activity Monitor and Console (which also stores the Crash Reports).

I went to the crash report. There were many not sure if this was the latest one:

Where you changing screen brightness or volume or the keyboard background light intensity*?
Because the "BezelUIServer" is responsible for that.
What about RAM usage? And how much RAM do you have in what exact Mac?

So it is a 2009 13" MBP, that came with 2 or 4 GB RAM. Have you changed RAM?
The next time Safari crashes, copy the report directly from the appearing window into a TextEdit document and post it here.

Yes 4GB. I have done nothing to the RAM. I just do the updates that pop up. Ok, when it happens again I will copy and paste it here. Thanks for your help.
