Why does Push Notifications not always work for all apps?

It's always been that way. There are several times a day when I will get push notifications for apps on my Android phone that I never got for the same exact app running on my iPad/iPhone.
I still have the problem where the screen will just light up when a notification comes in on my iPhone/iPad but there is no notification. I look on my Android phone and the notification came in on it.

How come Tapatalk instantly does push notifications when a change happens instantly?
This is so true! Apple please add this feature!
That or some jailbreaker out there who is listening!

I never saw that app do anything instantly. In fact, its notifications are constantly random guesses. But that might just be my luck 🙂
