Why does Siri allow me to set reminder for Wednesday, March 11, 3722?

Will it remind me in 3722? or 2022?(the nearest year that ends in 22)

Why wouldn't it allow you to do it? It's only doing what you've asked.

Well, that about wraps things up for this thread.

Join us next week—same time, same site—when we'll be getting to the bottom of more questions, like "Why does Siri allow me to play They Might Be Giants' 90s hit 'Birdhouse in Your Soul'?"

Then, it's Throwback Thread Thursday #TTT where we'll be revisiting such queries as "Why has Siri allowed me to create a timer? What does this mean for my future?"

For all you reading out there, I'm Anger Danger wishing you safe browsing!

Op wants Siri to be smart enough to respond and say "you'll be dead by then, no point in giving you a reminder"

Or "I'll let god know"

Makes sense, by 3722 you'll have definitely forgotten and will need that reminder.

"hey siri, what's the phone number for the nearest cryogenic freezing company?"

I hope it's not too expensive to get myself frozen for 1705 years and be revived in 3721, in time to hear Siri's reminder.

You're right. People are so sensitive these days.

sensitive people are good for business.... without those people, we will probably still using flip phones.
