When I open the passwords app (via spotlight), Little snitch reports that passwords app is trying to connect to nearly every third party for which it has a password. Why is this? Choosing deny or allow seems to have no effect on functionality, but then that's hard to track. Any information appreciated.

Why does the passwords app connect to third parties?

It may connect to the sites to get the icons for the password records.
