Hi all,
I'm new to this forum, and relatively new to Mac OSX (I've been a Windows user for the last several years) But thats not the point.
The point is, When i was browsing my gaming forum websites (like i usually do), on the average day, I will be able to go to that website and read it like any other website. But today, when I went on that site, it redirected me to "haquefoundation.eleadatabase.com/get_involved/donate/index.html" DO NOT CLICK THIS
Its a site trying to sell me databases for "Email Mailing Lists"
Chrome on my Mac has been trying to block the pop-ups, but occasionally, that site pops on its own.
I have a feeling this is malware...strangely, normally when I visit my gaming forum, nothing bad happens, but today, this happens.
What can I do to stop this?
ClamXav says that my mac is clean. But how can it be clean if that website keeps opening by itself?
thanks
please help..
