The new "tabs" dividing each section were recently replaced with gaudy, oversized arrows. Why?!

    Because it can ;)

Btw nobody should ever EVER EVER complain about anything Wikipedia does since it's offers a service that you don't have to use if you don't want to and does it completely free of charge for the betterment of the world.

Are you really that naive? The creator(s) of Wikipedia are almost certainly billionaires. How do you think they became such?

Jimmy Wales, founded of Wikipedia, is not a billionaire and infant choose to not monetize the site.

Get the facts before you talk out of your ass.

    You don't have to yell.

Users of a service, even if it's free, absolutely have every right to critique the service, as long as it's constructive and intended for the betterment of that service. You also don't know if the OP has donated to Wikipedia, which is how the foundation stays online. If s/he has, then not only does the OP have a right to complain, but I'd argue that Wikipedia has an obligation to listen.

Fortunately, the foundation doesn't display the same attitude you do on an official level. If they did, they'd be gone long ago, because no one would want to donate to them. That's why you never, EVER, alienate your users, even if the service is free. Because if you do, then people WILL stop caring if you exist, and may even actively make sure you don't, in good time.
