Why doesn't Apple enable some 3GS features on the 3G?

Like loads of people have said it, the 3G is capable of all these things. However if they enabled it all on the 3G it would make the 3G S look even more of a pathetic update than it already is. The 3G S is just so Apple would make it to the front of News Papers.

Over a million people last week didn't think it was a pathetic update. The $499 price was worth it to me.

Yes, but it was MUCH more pathetic than the rumors made it out to be. They had things like front facing camera, new body (big one), and then some ridiculous ones. 😀
