Why doesn't apple have very high resolution, realistic watch faces?

The watches are recognizable. The digital faces are not. If you don't care about the faces thats fine. Many people do, and they have whole communities designing watch faces. My question is still, why doesn't Apple have some better faces.

I am 100% with you. If I want a big digital time in the center let me have it. The infograph modular face is so frustrating because I don't want a giant complication in the center. I want the freaking time there! Every year I hope they'll give us third party watch faces or more control over the watch faces and it never happens.

Agreed. As basic as they are, they trump faces that are trying too hard to replicate real watch faces. For me at least.

I don’t know what a trump face is. Do you hate the Hermes faces? Those look great, why can’t we have a few more classy faces like that? Why not have more watch faces that look like real watch faces? Lots of people want them.

Exactly. You don't like some of the faces posted in this thread? Guess what, you wouldn't have to use them. Some of us would like to.
