Because you don't need it for sprint.

Do you think they have these at the Apple Store? Out of the 3 we had in our house we can only find one. They're very useful to have extras of and I prefer these to a paperclip.

And the Sprint iPhone 4S does have a sim, for international roaming. You just don't need it on the regular network.

Deja vu...

I thought they all did. It's inside a little plastic thing that folds out and also contains documentation.

Nope! Didn't come with the Sprint ones.

Nope is been removed from there

I prefer using one of those headphone jack plugs.
It also doubles as a sim tray eject tool and its always there if you need it.

That may just be perfect. Thanks for the suggestion.

Got an earring? Use that. Got a girlfriend? Use her earring. :D

My earring posts are pretty slender and don't seem to work very well unfortunately. Right now we're just trying to keep track of the key that came with my iPad since the others have gone missing. Haha

I think I may look into the earphone plug as that can serve dual uses and be less likely to get lost.

I just took my tray out on Verizon using my name tag from work, and was quite surprised to see a verizon sim card in the tray. I always thought the tray was just empty..

It does, but not in the USA for some reason. We got one in Australia

I imagine that out of the millions of phones they sell only a tiny fraction of a piece of a percentage would actually use it. Thus it wouldn't be practical or cost-effective.

I got one with my iPhone 4S purchased through Three in the UK. I didn't even expect one to be there, so I was confused about what it was when I first saw it! I thought it was a nice touch and really made getting that SIM slot open pretty easy. :)

I got one in Canada.

In the US, they include one if they send you a replacement phone, so you can swap out the SIM with your data plan from the dead phone and put it into the new one. Ask me how I know... :) but all's well that ends well. Anyway it's true a paperclip or similar item will work.
