My Watch 3 used to unlock my MacBook Pro, can't remember if my 5 did but after updates and an iPhone change to the 11 Pro Max, I need to use touch on my Laptop. Is there a setting I need to change?

Thanks.

From my experience, after I upgraded my iPhone to iOS 13 and my AW to WatchOS 6, I had to wait until Mac OS Catalina was available to get my AW to unlock my 12" MacBook. Is the OS on your MBP up to date?

Hmmm, Apple Watch unlock works fine for me and I'm running the latest iOS and WatchOS, but my MacBook is still Mojave. When I had Catalina on Mac Mini (which I returned) then I had problems with the Watch not unlocking.

I have a few programs that have problems with the new Mac OS and will hold off as long as I can. I was just wondering if there is an option I need to check.

And it is working again. Not sure why, I didn't make any changes. Thanks for the replies.

Edit: And now it isn't working. I suppose I need to check the steps in the link.
