WHy dont i have iphoto, imovie...?

I have a late 2008 and it crashed a few months ago so i had to start from scratch on the same HD. it has the latest software but just recently noticed i do NOT have iphoto or imovie on my computer... wth?

i just used my old disk and installed them

i assume its not gonna update them to the current versions?

You assume right. You have to purchase newer versions, just like before.
