Just want to now how the worlds smartest phone that is so expensive
hasn't got a radio antenna
i now you can listen to radio by streaming but i just want a simple radio app that i don't have to be connected to the internet for it to work

its so simple and in every phone i ever had even cheap crap rubbish phone
why dose the MIGHTY iPhone not have this simple feature:mad:

Every cheap phone? I've never had a single cell phone in 12+ years of owning one that had FM functionality. While its been rumored to have FM radio abilities since the iPod Touch 2G and all iDevices contain the needed chips, Apple has never enabled it or made it work.

This is one thing I've never missed in a phone. Especially since if it was there it'd be FM only and I only listen to AM. The ability to stream virtually any radio station in the world is a dream come true for any radio lover.

Who gives a crap about a FM receiver on their phone? If you need it that bad, then stream the radio station....nearly every radio station is streaming on the internet these days...

My 19 dollar Samsung Focus has it and I have used it a lot.

A radio feature is really most likely not included because it could decrease the number of songs you buy on iTunes. $$$$$$

Or because old fashioned radio is antiquated technology.....

Either way, I don't miss a radio. I have the Sirius app and an iPod on my phone, it's all good :)

If that were true then there would not be the free Pandora app available for download for the iPhone in the App store.

Yes, it's an iPhone, but it doesn't mean it has every single feature out there. In fact, there's a lot of things that are missing from it.

Not sure about which stations you're listening too, but god forbid you still listen to AM/FM (not sure why you would with it's inferior quality, horrible ratio of content to advertisements, and the fact you can select your music nowadays versus having random unlikable songs or the same top 10 shoved in your face), there are plenty of apps that still allow you to tune in ... and at a higher quality with more reliable 'signal'.

Many gyms have multiple TVs that you have to tune to radio stations to get the audio.

It is a very useful feature still in 2011.

This right here is main purpose for an FM radio in a PMP these days. Although, I guess if I still went to the gym on a regular basis  I would get an iPod Nano instead of using my iPhone and getting it all sweaty.

Internet Radio I can get almost every local radio station plus I can get stations around the world. And I don't have to worry about getting out of the stations range as long as I have WiFi or Data. so I want a Radio why?
