I don't ever see the Java OSX updates that release on my Macs. I know I can go download it from the Apple Downloads site, but Apple states they are available as a Software Update too. Just wondering how to fix this, as I don't want it to prevent me from seeing other updates that I could be missing.

Java updates do show up in Software Update/App Store once you've installed Java, but since Java isn't in the OS by default you won't get updates until then.
