At least for data use, not calls :

Allow the iPhone to function upside down (thanks to the accelerometer), exactly as the iPad can...

Try death-gripping your naked iPhone holding it upside down, and look at the 3G reception and speed : it is extremely good that way !!!
The antennas are at the top, far from your hand, I'm sure it's even healthier that way...

I would be perfectly happy with the ability to use my iPhone upside down (for everything except calls of course) ;)

And it would benefit the iPhone 3G and 3GS as well...

What do you think ?

Because the phone doesn't need to be fixed. That's the point. Clear your head of the lies. I get 1.4 Mbps down with 1 bar.
