To be honest, it comes down to weighing whether the benefit of certain things that are easier / more fully supported in Windows (AV chat across all clients, better support for certain handhelds and mobile devices, some specialty software, etc, and the availability of current subnotebooks in the Windows market) vs. the fact that the vast majority of things I regularly do are far less painful in OS X.I actually prefer having / being part of lower market share - it worries me what could/would happen if millions of windows users droped their kit and joined ranks, it really does. I can't put my finger on why but it's true??
I got my version of Office for Mac through a Microsoft program at work. It cost me $39.99 CAD. I also bought Office 2007 for windows for the same price just for fun! How sweet is that?Hell no... I ain't going any where near that fugly operating system. I'm 14 and I got grey hairs because of Vista. It took them couple years to make XP perfectly stable and they ruined all that for Vista.
The way I see is that PC are incompatible, my mom's school sells Mac version of MS word for dirt cheap and PC versions for like 125-200$. Plus, Microsoft is a volume licensing whore.
Microsoft should just stick to consoles and maybe word productivity.
