For as long as I can remember, the iOS keyboard will autocorrect all major holidays (at least US holidays), but I don’t think it’s ever autocorrected thanksgiving with a capital T. Any idea why?

Probably because it’s a festival that celebrates something quite unsavoury, and Apple have a moral responsibility

Also, thanksgiving is an actual word, meaning to literally give thanks (of course) and so no need to capitalise
