why have apple for iPad price on UK site in dollars?

Hello,

Just checked the apple uk site and now it shows the prices of the ipad in dollars. Why?

It's the same in Apple's Canadian site. The fine print basically says that they haven't decided on any local currency prices outside the USA yet.

Just replace the dollar symbol with a pound symbol and it should be close. 😉

You've got to wait 60 days before it goes on sale anyway, just be patient. 🙂

They'll wait as long as possible to announce non US prices so they don't get bitten by the exchange rate.
