Two things.
You need to have made more than 250 posts and have been a member of MacRumors for more than six months in order to be able to access the Marketplace sub-forum.

Find threads that discuss topics that interest you and make posts there; I daresay that you will find that you reach 250 posts before six months passes. And six months should pass fairly quickly.
However, the requirement for access to the marketplace is twofold: 250 posts plus six months membership.
