Why is 3.0 not available for me?

I'm still on 2.1 and using iTunes 8.2. When I start iTunes it says an update is available for your iPhone (version 2.2.1). I would expect that to say 3.0?

You're wanting to go from Windows 3.1 to Vista in one step. 😉

You should have prepared for the 3.0 launch by having the most recent version on your phone in advance. You'll have to go through two installs: 2.2.1 and then 3.0.
