This is beyond unacceptable. I thought this was malware at first, but it is on two Apple devices.

This is unacceptable example https://askanydifference.com/difference-between-super-retina-and-liquid-retina/

Having a pop up banner at the bottom of the screen, video pop up add, and having 8 other adds on that web site.

Yes a pop up banner add at the bottom hovering over the text making it hard to read? On this website.

Here is other one.

A pop up banner add at the bottom hovering over the text making it really hard to read the text on the page as your scroll down the page as the pop up banner scrolls down the page when you scroll down the page. Not to say the other adds on that page.

These ads are unacceptable.

Install AdGuard. You can also use AdGuard DNS to block ads throughout the whole system without even installing an app:

Unless I'm missing something those ads are nothing to do with Apple or iOS, those sites are just using badly designed invasive ads. An ad blocker will get rid of them.

Can some one check out those sites above on their iPad to see if they get those adds.

I just want to make sure there is nothing wrong with the iPad or my router has malware and is feeding those adds to my devies.

This seem way too much for web site.

This from tomshardware forum.

Strong words like 'beyond unacceptable' do not apply here. Welcome to the internet.

Apple is not pushing anything, nor has this anything to do with iOS. This is standard behavior on many websites. The content/popup banners and ads you see are generated by those sites and not by Apple. Even on MacRumors you get advertisements. You will see this behavior on any device with a internet browser, be it a PC, an Android Phone/tablet, an iPhone, an iPad, a Mac and even on a Linux computer. I probably forgot to mention some other devices, but you get the idea.

Welcome to the big bad world and (as others already said) install an adblocker.

That is too many adds for for a website. Well many web sites may post adds on the web site they don't have adds floating over other adds and text making it hard to read.

Well most 90% of malware out there are adware and spyware than malware that does stuff to the OS.

So if others here go to that web sites and they get those adds it probably than not malware.

If it is only me than there is some malware feeding adds to me no matter what web site I go to.

Have you already tried an adblocker and did it help?
Also, if you think it is malware the title of this thread seems misleading. In that case Apple is not pushing more ads with iOS, but malware is.

I mean if others here go to that website and say yes I get all those adds than it is well very unlikely I have malware.

If others here go to those websites and say I don't get many adds than it looks like I got malware.

The fact that those adds are very close to the other adds is is normally red flag of malware.

I have had malware infection with windows computers in past and this was common thing with spyware and adware. And lots of pop ups and banner adds are normally a red flag.

I've been to tomshardware on windows using chrome and there are many ads. Of course, based on the platform, tomshardware may push more ads, i.e. if the http headers indicate safari on ios, but I highly doubt your ipad has been hacked.

You get me puzzled here. Your thread says 'Why is Apple pushing more ads with iOS', but it is not about that? Maybe you should change the title ;)

It seems when I got iOS 14 I started to see more if these adds.

I will check those web sites on a windows 10 laptop later on in the day to see if all those adds show up there or how bad those adds are there.

This has NOTHING to do with Apple other than you're seeing their adverts.

Complain to the website, not Apple.

Not sure what you mean? Are you saying I may get more ads on iOS than windows?

As others have stated this is not caused by the underlying OS. This content is delivered by the website.

Not iOS14, or anything else.

Yes I just want to make sure it is not malware effecting iOS or my rounter.

If other people here have an iPad and go to those web sites and get that many ads and banners and displaying like that well than it is unlikely it is malware.

If other people here with an iPad go to those web sites and it looks clean nothing like those screenshots I posted above than it is malware. Be it iOS has malware or my router.
