both companies have there flaws. i used to work for cingular/at&t, and while i worked there i had a verizon phone under my dads account. i was given a at&t phone for company use. so i always had at&t and verizon on my hip at all times. everywhere i would go i would compare service. for the most part it was the same for both. every once in a while i would have service with at&t where i wouldnt have service with verizon and vice versa.
the funny thing is, is that apple went to Verizon first....and basically said we are developing a phone, we cant tell you what it looks like, how its gonna work, how much we wanna sell it for, NOTHIN! but this willbe the best phone on the market and be like nothing anyone has ever seen...are in interested? and verizon wasnt willing to take that leap and throw away a bunch of money for something they knew nothing about. at&t was. and like a bunch of people on here have said it is probably one of the smartest things they have ever done! and a smart thing at at for signing a long term exclusivity agreement. it was all about business. the"new" at&t already had a bad name because of the prevous "At&t Wireless" which im sure most of knew sucked more then a $2 hooker!
yes i do drop calls with my iphone...and when i had verizon i dropped calls as well. my dad still has verizon and tells me all the time about him dropping calls. no one company is perfect and never will be. both companies have there pros and cons!
