Why is AT&T Clueless Sending Me New Buyer SPAM?

Ok I've got confirmation my new 4g phone has shipped. Yet I get AT&T email congratulating me on purchase of 3G phone and link on how to operate a 3G iPhone. I'd better see glass and aluminum when I open the box 😉
