why is google docs crap on an ipad browser?

all i want to do i browse my google docs worksheets on my ipad 12.9 in either safari or chrome.
no editing needed, just browsing. looks great on a desktop browser, but an ipad?

The visual and formatting is complete rubbish. why is this? surely something as prevalent as google docs with iPad should be a forgone polished conclusion?

is there a way to successfully view my docs in the ipad web browser?

Maybe Install the apps like the above poster suggested and the browser links might open in the apps automatically

Good to hear. Ideally the website would be better but in reality the apps will probably always be more feature rich so worth having them installed
