What computer do you have? Is the disc damaged?

Its running 10.4.11 and itunes is up to date
I thought it was the disc, so I cancelled and tried another, its still very slow and I am only half way through burning a cd and its been 10 mins and it has 7 mins left. It seems it taking a minute a song to burn.

Is it a brand-name disk or an off brand? That sometimes makes a difference as well.

I cant be the disk since it was working fine before the last I tunes update. The funny thing is, I tried using Toast just to see how fast it would burn, and it burned in 3 mins. So it has to be itunes.
