Why is Iphone 6 wearing a thong?

Why is there so much noise on Iphones these days? I don't get it. All those lines and details really seem intrusive. It looks like the iphone is wearing a thong getting ready for a swim. it even is wearing a bra.

You need to go back and watch the keynote again. The new iPhones have swim mode!

It has to do with the antennas... like the previous version that were glass on purpose to let the signal out, now that these two areas are metal in the 6, you need these plastic parts for the signal.
