If you let us know which carrier you're on, we can be more specific about the carrier options.Tons of spam and these apps do nothing with the free version. My old androids where much better.
Whats a good one to fwt for under 3.00 a month?
AT&T and T-Mobile both offer call blocking. I don't believe Verizon has such an app.
Is it a new app? When I had Verizon a few years ago, their app didn't actually block calls it just sent them to voicemail.Verizon does to, it's called Call Filter..
I've had it for a couple years. It works fairly well.. They have a paid version that adds features but I haven't tried it..Is it a new app? When I had Verizon a few years ago, their app didn't actually block calls it just sent them to voicemail.
T-Mobile's Scam Shield works well. Every once in a while I will get what is probably a robo call. I just block the number. If it tries to call me again, it gets disconnected before my phone even rings.I have AT&T and even with their filter I have gotten breakthrough robo-calls.

I have the Verizon Call Filter app. It gives you an option between sending to voicemail or blocking the call at the network. I think blocking the call at the network is a relatively new feature. Is it a new app? When I had Verizon a few years ago, their app didn't actually block calls it just sent them to voicemail.
Call Filter is what I had when I had Verizon. It didn't have the block option at the time. I do that as well. It just the issue has gotten so out of hand that my blocked list is like 40+ numbers.T-Mobile's Scam Shield works well. I wish the providers could offer a service to block all numbers from international switches. I do not expect any calls from outside of North America. Why can they not allow me to block any call coming through an international switch? If a company wants to use an Indian or Philippine call centre I should be able to block them. If you want to call me, do it from NA! Then at least our local fraud/DNC laws will applyLOL. There is no option for us to filter all phones comes from outside of the country. I am constantly getting robo call or one ring call from African countries.
I was forced to silence all unknown call, but I am ended up with missing important call from doctors office, client calls…
Android is offering much better way to managing income calls
