Why is it Called an SR MBP

    It's the new motherboard intel uses, codename Santa Rosa.

    ahhhhh i wasnt sure if it meant Second Revision (which wouldnt make sense) or Santa Rosa or what. Thanks for clearing that up

    no, no, no! it isn't the np macbook pro. it's the sr macbook pro. duh! ;)

    santa rosa happens to be where I live (95407), I think something was developed here for it.
