Im still new to mac, but this was giving me some problems today because as i saved my pages document and exported it as a word document it would still be a pages document under documents; however, in templates it was the word doc. Also how come under the finder i cant see templates, is it because its just for pages? I was able to get around the problem, but just for future reference is there a way to save the word template under my documents as a word doc.

Why is it some documents are saved in templates and others in documents?
