why is it taking so long

i am creating a movie in imovie '08. it is about 20 minutes long. when i go to share it with the media browser it is saying it will take roughly 170 minutes. why is it so long for such a short movie. this is a pain

I believe this is normal speed... Depends on the speed of your harddrive too afaik.

wow thats extremely lame, i like how the old imovie hd did things because there was no need to put it in the media browser

I believe the more RAM you have the faster it would process.
