why is mac.com up?

meh, the web interface has been redirecting me on and off for a while when I try to load something. So something is obviously going on over there. My iDisk is also inaccessible from the Finder (everything since the last sync, that is).

Hence the word "still." I would imagine Apple will not be taking mac.com offline until me.com is up.

It will be taken down when it needs to be taken down. Apple WILL have it up by 5AM tomorrow morning AT THE LATEST, when customers NEED access. They have posted 2AM as their finish time and it hasn't changed again, so it SHOULD be done by then.

Yeah I was a little surprised this morning about that, but maybe they have to have both offline at the same time for some reason.
