Why Is 'Mail' PPC on Intel?

My 'Mail' program runs as a PowerPC program despite the fact that I have an Intel (C2D) iMac?

Any way to fix this?

Huh? What does that mean? Mail is an universal App. It will run the same on PPC and Intel. Do you mean that it runs slow? What made you think that it was a PPC program?

And to Lovesong: in Activity Monitor, Mail was running as a PowerPC program. I have no idea how it got that way...
