Why is my iPod using data??!!!!!

Ever since I upgraded to 4.3 the only thing I noticed that could be draining is the iPod using data, wtf!!!!

No, just did a fresh dfu restore

it is draining because something is on. Something is connecting it. Check the settings. Check which apps are automatically connecting.

Is genius turned off? That would also cause the ipod to use data each time it is launched

I've never seen the circular data icon when using my iPod. I just checked and nothing.

I had this problem too when using my Iphone and it was driving me mad as my data plan isn't great. I realised that I'd turned on the Nike + Ipod app on a whim and every time I went into the normal Ipod app it would start using data. I've just turned the Nike app off and it *seems* to be fine again (not using any data). Maybe something similar is happening to you?
