Why is my memory in iTunes discolored?

If you plug in your iPhone, iPod, etc. you always can look at the bottom of the screen to see how much memory you have, and it is conveniently placed on a "timeline" (or whatever). When I look at mine, in the music section part of it is a darker shade of blue than the rest.

I believe the darker blue indicates music videos, whereas the royal blue indicates MP3s.

Agreed, after looking further into it, I found they are music videos..

Wouldn't it make more sense to make it a different shade of purple? Just a thought
