Why is my phone taking up so much backup space?

Hey guys,

I am just wondering why my iPhone is requiring almost 2 gigs of space to back up. I have taken the following steps

1. I have deleted ALL photos from my camera roll
2. I have deleted almost all text message chains
3. I have turned off backup on all my apps

I can't figure out how to cut down the size of my backup further?
