Why is my watch still mirroring iPhone notifications

I have an app called Microsoft authenticator, I use it a lot for work, it gives me a pop up to enter verification codes etc. It’s really irritating that my Apple Watch SE also buzzes with this notification even though it’s not possible to action it via the watch.

The setting to mirror notifications for this app is OFF in the settings - am I missing something?

Turning this off in the watch settings —> notifications —> authenticator and turning that off works for me. Maybe reboot watch? Double button press and hold ?

Sorry, forgot to come and update!
Well, when I got another authenticator notification I went back into the settings and mirroring was set to On, so either Im'm such an idiot that I didn't turn it off properly or I somehow turned it back on, but for now it seems to be behaving correctly 😂

I've had those turn on magically before - so you're not an idiot. Glad it is working now! 😀
