My 2022 M2 8GB Macbook Pro cannot seem to rub Roblox properly. There are visual glitches, lag, and the memory leak / allcoation is horrendous where after 5 minutes the game is unplayable.

However, my 2017 Intel based Macbook Air has no issues whatsoever in the same game. It also has 8GB RAM.

Is there something up with the Apple Silicon that Roblox wont work with?

I have two kids who play extensively on their M1 MBA's and don't seem to have any particular problems. However Roblox isn't really just one game. There are a ton of different options, quality settings, mods, etc. I know they can't play some of those at higher visual settings, but that's self-evident even to them.

Fair enough. Some games that are less graphic intensive might be better.

However, is there a reason why the same game (same settings) runs perfectly on a 2017 Intel MBA but cant function on a 2022 M2 MBP? Is it a software / Apple silicon issue?

No idea! I just know that if my kids had the kind of issues you describe, I'd hear about it! They can handle not being able to play at max visual settings, but any lag at all makes it unplayable.

How did you install Roblox? Sounds like you might be running the Intel version in Rosetta instead of native Apple Silicon.

So 14.1.1 is breaking Roblox and causing memory spikes in other applications. There is a serious bug. How can i roll back or update to another version?
