Im on 10.11.6 and safari is behaving terribly.

I called up my website and nearly had heart attack....the entire page looked like a bomb had gone off....
    everything was out of place.

After my panic subsided I checked the same site on chrome and opera and they displayed as they should.

    Any thoughts?

it was a site built using blogger....turns out I had the google block extension on...once I disabled it, everything was back on.

    Sorry for dissing you, safari.

you are using an .0 version. Wait for the next update and / or update your extensions and plug-ins.

But I saw similar bugs with previous versions of Safari.
